About

Aclasta is a medicine used for the treatment and prevention of osteoporosis of various aetiologies, including treatment for women suffering from osteoporosis during menopause. Contraindictions

• Do not use Aclasta if you are allergic to Zoledronic Acid and Bisphosphonates.
• Cannot be prescribed in pediatric practices and may cause renal impairment
• Caution is advised to patients suffering from an impaired mineral metabolism
• Can cause hyperthermia, muscle and joint pain, headaches and influenza symptoms which develop within the first three days and increase with each re-introduction. Symptoms decrease when taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
